Software Engineer Intern in Google Core Compute team

    Investigated and proved the feasibility of semantically clustering API responses via a pipeline incorporating GenAI and other ML techniques:
  • Prompted, validated, and used Gemini for generation of bulk responses.
  • Distilled knowledge of Gemini to BERT-base model for efficiency and better quality on the specific domain.
  • Fine-tuned BERT via contrastive learning.
  • Performed hierarchical clustering of embeddings and visualized results in user friendly display via T-SNE.
  • Validated the results of each component of the pipeline via appropriate metrics (AUC, Accuracy, User Feedback session, etc) and documented all work and future improvements in a research-like paper.

STEP Software Engineer Intern in Google Compute Engine team

  • Implemented a Fan-in scenario for a tracing system in GCE control plane, tracing 1,000,000+ new requests daily.
  • Applied a mechanism to pass CLI flags to executable binary, making the behavior user definable at runtime.
  • Designed and added tables to a UI dashboard, displaying details of Fan-in traces utilizing Protocol Buffer Text Format and SQL queries.
  • Used a remote cloud desktop for building, running and testing (unit + integration) the code. Mainly worked with Java programming language.

  • Built Python functions solving high scale combinatorial problems in exponentially shorter time than classical approaches using Quadratic Unconstrained Binary Optimization (QUBO) solver APIs.
  • Created beginner-friendly documentations for 10+ NP-hard problems utilizing Quantum Inspired Algorithms.

  • Extracted relatively fraudulent cases from legal actions automating 90% by using k-means clustering methodologies utilizing programming language R.

3D Story Builder with GenAI

Wrote a pipeline of GenAI, turning text input into an interactive 3D story experience. The project receives a textual story as an input, using OpenAI API it is split into scenes which get transformed into:
• Visual description for the scene used for environment 360° image generation model from Blockade Labs
• Description for audio/music generation model from Meta Everything gets stacked together in Unity as a 3D story.

A mobile app built for Google Solution Challenge (prototype) in team of 2. The app allows donors to create challenges for charities and for helpers to participate in those challenges to raise money for those charities. Currently, the challenges offered are solving LeetCode problems and taking math quizzes. The app doesn't support money transfer yet.

A python graphical game built for a university course 'Algorithms and Data Structures'.
The game uses a mix of algorithms - quicksort, binary search - and data structures. It includes comprehensive comments with time complexity analysis of functions. The game utilizes a simple random bot.
